This page explains how to remove the access that Alcidor Tech, LLC’s livestream chat management service (the “Service”) has to your accounts, and how to ask us to delete data we hold about you. For full details on what we collect and how long we keep it, see our Privacy Policy.
We keep chat messages, commenter details, and moderation details from YouTube and Facebook for no more than 30 days after a livestream.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@alcidortech.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- Who you are: an Organization (church or ministry), an operator or administrator, or a livestream viewer.
- What to delete: your whole account, a connected platform, or specific messages.
- Information to help us find your data:
- Organizations: the Organization’s name and the email of an administrator on the account.
- Operators and administrators: your name, the email you sign in with, and your Organization.
- Viewers: your display name, the platform (YouTube or Facebook), the church’s livestream you commented on, and the approximate date and time.
We will confirm we received your request within 3 business days and give you a reference number. We may ask you to verify your identity before deleting anything.
What we delete and when
| Request | What happens |
|---|---|
| Disconnect YouTube or Facebook (in the Service, or by revoking access as described below) | We revoke the access token and delete related platform data within 7 days |
| Delete an operator or administrator | We delete the person’s account information within 30 days. Entries in the Organization’s operator log are anonymized. |
| Close an Organization’s account | We revoke all connected platforms and delete the Organization’s settings, templates, schedules, chat data, referral records, and operator logs within 30 days |
| Delete a viewer’s messages | We delete any stored copies of that viewer’s messages and details within 7 days. Data that has already been deleted under our 30-day limit has nothing left to delete. |
Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 additional days before it is permanently erased. We may keep a minimal record that a deletion request was completed, or information we are legally required to keep.
Removing access directly from Facebook
You can remove the Service’s access to your Facebook account or Page at any time:
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Go to Business integrations (for Pages) or Apps and websites (for personal accounts).
- Find the Alcidor Tech app and choose Remove.
Removing the app stops the Service from reading or acting on your Page. To also delete the data we already hold, send us a deletion request as described above.
Removing access directly from Google / YouTube
- Go to your Google Account’s Third-party connections page.
- Select the Alcidor Tech app and choose Delete all connections (or Remove access).
When access is revoked, we delete related YouTube data within 30 days at most, and usually within 7 days. Google’s handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Removing access to Planning Center
An Organization administrator can disconnect Planning Center in the Service’s settings. An administrator can also revoke the Alcidor Tech app from the Organization’s Planning Center account under its authorized applications settings.
Messages on YouTube and Facebook themselves
The Service doesn’t control what is published on YouTube or Facebook. To remove a comment you posted on a livestream, delete it directly on that platform. If you’re a viewer and want a church to stop following up with you, contact that church directly; we’ll also pass your request along if you include it in your email to us.
